From the time I was going to graduate from my High School (2001) and planning to start my College, it has never been easy. First I know my family cannot afford to put me to college, and I know that if will not go to college I would really have a dim future ahead of me. But FSLE opened a window of opportunity for me. I know it wouldn’t be easy because, it is La Salle. But I realized that that much opportunity opened up for me for a reason.

Studying hard being a good Lasallian student is not enough to show how much grateful I am for the benefactors and the FSLE. I kept in my mind that I am not doing this just for myself, my family but also for the people who put their trust, money and time for me.

Lots of things have happened since I enrolled in this college. Many school activities, fests, competitions and even unfortunate events have occurred which I would not be able to experience if I wasn’t an FSLE scholar.

Expressing all of my exploits, experiences and the changes that I have endured the last five years would almost be endless. But it all ends to one thing, that all of them, big or small would be impossible without them.

In the end, I really don’t know How to finish this message of mine. All I can say is Thanks to the Lord coz He gave all of us the chance to be part of FSLE. He also gave us the LAMP office with Ms. Girlie, Sir Henson and Ms. Jing. He also gave us the benefactors, Bro. Rafe, Bro. Mawell and Sir Lingao. Thank you Lord for all of them, because they have been the blessings in my life.
