It’s been four years and I can still remember the day I entered De La Salle Lipa with an envelop filled with papers required for my scholarship application. I was amazed by all the things that surround me and upon entering the college lobby. I pictured myself wearing the college uniform and talking to my new friends while walking to attend our first class. My daydreaming ended upon when the guard noticed that I entered the wrong gate. In that moment, my daydreams turned back once again into reality… a reality that brought me into this institution to pursue my dreams…

My parents cannot afford to send me to college. This reason gave me the strength to persevere on my studies in high school because my mother told me that once I got good grades, I would probably have a chance to get a scholarship in any universities. It did pay off. I graduate as the class valedictorian in high school.

I immediately applied for the scholarship here iin DLSL. Mr. Lingao introduced me to anew scholarship program (FSLE) offered by the institution.. I grabbed the opportunity and after a month of waiting, God gave me the best give I’ve always wanted before. I got the scholarship! No words can described my feelings that day. My daydreams finally came into reality… a reality that fill-up the missing peaces and complete my path to my dreams.

I practically went through never-ending sobs, lectures painfully learned, grievances tearfully solved, adventures I seek and found, mentors I loved and hated, paper works and programming and this dream that was fulfilled. And truly, being a La Sallian and a scholar made me a more responsible, confident and a strong product of this institution.

My memories in DLSL and in FSLE certainly will last forever. And now that time has come and I’m on the edge of signing off from my college life, I would like to express my deepest gratitude to those people who gave their support and help all through this years…

Thanks to my family for always being there and for the prayers and support…

To Mr. Lingao, Miss Girlie and Miss Ariane, thanks for the patience and encouragement.
I would also like to thank Bro. Rafe for always believing in us and continue to share his knowledge and experiences.

To my co-FSLE scholars who became my companion, pristine camaraderie is how I describe my friendship with you.

And of course, I want to thank Mr. Rene LAgo and Mr. George Barcelon together with their family. Thanks for the trust and generosity you have given me. My thanks just to you and sincere gratification. Now you really are, to me, a true inspiration. I will continue to include you in my prayers. May God Bless you all days of your life.

And most of all, to Almighty God who gave me the gift of knowledge, wisdom and strength and for sending me generous people who made all these things possible.

God Bless!!!

Live Jesus in our Hearts…. Forever!
