It was April 4, 1997 when I first received my diploma in a public school. I am just a little girl who loves playing, dancing and chatting with friends. Behind these joyful memories is a great dream that someday I will able to finish my studies and have good job.

Then, it was March 2001 when I have received my second diploma, once again in a public school. Behind the happiness, I felt inside is the fear that I will not be able to go to College. Behind my smile is the hope that I will see myself in a private school holding once again, my diploma.

Then, it was April 1, 2001 when God has answered my prayer.. I can’t believe that I am one of the Lasallian scholar under LAMP scholar headed by Mr. Lingao. But God was so great and wonderful, it was last June 2004 when I have given an opportunity to be one of the FSLE scholar. It was one of my dreams that came true. And soon, I will go to stage and get my diploma and now at De La Salle Lipa.. Thanks… I am proud to be Lasallian.

“Thanks to You”

Happy, Proud and Blessed… these are just few words that describe my feelings right now. Yes, I am so happy because God has given me a lot of blessings and I’m so thankful. One of this is the opportunity of being one of the FSLE scholars. Honestly speaking, it is an answered prayer. Me and my family was so grateful because I have given a chance to belong to this community. Thanks to Bro. Rafael Donato and Ms. Girlie Navarro who trusted and supported me. The moment I’ve heard the news that they accepted my scholarship, it really uplifts my personality. The more I told to myself that I must do my best to finish my studies and do a great job. Fortunately, I was able to maintain good grades last semester. I am so grateful because these last few months I was able to join in school activities unlike before because I have worked at the HRD office. I was able to experience reading newspapers and books at the library, browsing the internet and most of all, focus on my studies well. Thanks to FSLE.

One of the unforgettable moments which I will always treasure is our Christmas Party held last December 2004. It was the first time to be with my co-FSLE, to be with our benefactors and to all the people behind the foundation. During our Christmas Party, I really felt the spirit that my co-FSLE scholar was so blessed because there are wonderful people that share their gifts and blessings to us. We are really so grateful because they became a God’s instrument for us to reach our aspirations. Were hoping someday that we will be like you, the man behind success and most of all being well known for having a golden heart.

From the bottom of my heart, I really want to express my sincerest gratitude to Ms. Margarita Climaco. Thank you for giving me strength and being my inspiration to achieve my goals and to succeed. To you and to your family, thank you very much. I want to dedicate my diploma to you. I know it wouldn’t be possible without you. Me and my family was so grateful because of your good deed, help and support, to all those who needs your help and fortunately I am one of those who received you blessings. For me, you are a great gift, you are so wonderful.
I would like also to thank De La Salle Lipa for supplying us with the best quality education. This institution somehow proven me that being financially handicapped doesn’t mean you can’t have a good future, instead, it motivates me to be a responsible person and help me to develop a strong desire to succeed.

Animo La Salle!!!
