The gratitude of the whole to its parts.

This may be the last thing that I would write for the Foundation for Sharing Lasallian Education (FSLE) because tomorrow I may be dead – and be deprived of the time to let the gratitude of the whole to its parts be unveiled.

I am very thankful to all the people behind the foundation who made it possible for me in gaining a Lasallian education. Thank you Sir Giovanni. I am not who I am now without FSLE.

The times that had passed as I continue to strive for this success were worth all the hardship because in every step I make, the foundation was there holding on, guiding and never letting go.

It has been late Br. Rafe’s words that keep my spirit alive. It has become part of my system that I enhance, excel and develop my gift or craft that God has given me in order to achieve my goals in life.

At times, we may be “pasaway” yet Ma’am Girlie, Sir Henson, Sir Morris, Ma’am Jhing, Sir Topher, and Ma’am Ariane kept on understanding all of us and giving us the assistance that we need. I apologize for all the trouble and thank you very much. The Lasallian Assistance Management Program served as a platform for making great things possible and simple dreams amazing.

We are indeed very fortunate scholars because FSLE really cares, gives importance and treats us as real sons and daughters. There may be times that we get scolded because of our shortcomings yet it was aimed to challenge us, for us to analyze and work harder.

There were a lot of moments that we shared together in times of joy and laughter. Still, sadness came to us twice with the faithful passing of the members of the FSLE family. Br. Rafe who until the end has the scholars in mind; and Sir Bobby who supported us all the way.

And as I continue to journey this towards effecting the change I want to happen in my life, rest assured that I will forever stand proud and cherish up to my last breath that I am a true green-blooded Foundation for Sharing Lasallian Education scholar.

Again, I thank all the people who care for total strangers like me.

Animo FSLE!
